Tri-State Automation designed and built this Custom Robotic Welding System to assist a Milwaukee-area customer in robotically welding warehouse and mezzanine structural steel columns. Custom weld fixtures allow the system to completely weld columns and base plates, ranging from 6′-30′ in length with varying thicknesses and weights, hands-free in less than 20 minutes. This automation eliminated the hours-long process of manually welding the columns. It can accommodate existing facilities as well as new warehouse builds and installation.
